Nach dem Ausbau des Getriebes stellte sich heraus, daß ein Lagerschaden die Ursache für das kratzende Geräusch im Getriebe war. Die Getriebewelle und die Synchronringe sind nach 23 Jahren noch in bestem Zustand; lediglich das Lager der Hauptwelle hat einen typischen Lagerschaden. Ärgerlich: Kleine Ursache, aber große Wirkung wegen eines letztlich einfachen Kugellagers.
